They are really too busy, I would prefer something simpler. These are bookmarks…where are the books? The backgrounds should be book related.

Managed to colour two bookmarks in today. The second one is a bit messy because I began colouring the background with pencil, found it too shiny with the metallic pencils I’d used for the gears, etc, so changed to a black Posca pen. Unfortunately, I only have a thick pen so did some of the smaller areas with a Vivid, which was spirit based and had a green-black shine. Very noticeably different to Poscas, so went over that as best I could – which was not very well.
