Each card features an image and a colour palette on the front for inspiration. The colours are featured again on the back, positioned neatly along the edge of the card so you can align them right up against your projects for a closer look. The back also includes darker and lighter shades of each colour to further assist with colour selection, as well as hex codes for each colour to give graphic designers and digital artists the confidence that they’re using the right colours every time.

I love these boxes. I do wonder if you have a way to search the cards based on a particular color. For instance, if I wanted to find all of the cards that included a certain color in the palette, can I do that; then find the cards by number? Or do I need to purchase the color catalog, too?

I’ve had the digital version of the Colour Catalogues for a few years and put off getting the Colour Cubes when they first came out due to the postage cost to the UK but after watching a couple of colourists on YouTube decided I could wait no longer. And eagerly kept track of the shipping progress on their journey from Australia to delivery to me in the UK. From start to finish the whole process was easy, the Colour Cubes were very well packaged and arrived about a week after ordering. They did not disappoint, a lot of thought and time has gone into these super cards and I’m thrilled to have them. Beautiful quality and looking forward to many happy hours using them. Having the physical cards is a fantastic asset to have along with the digital ones. Thank you Sarah for making both versions, I’m so happy with my purchase. The Cubes look lovely on my shelf too.
I love that I can look through the digital catalogues, even find the actual pencils I’m using in the companions and then the icing on the cake use the physical card right next to my picture.
I would highly recommend to anyone interested in colouring or painting to get them.
