Each card features an image and a colour palette on the front for inspiration. The colours are featured again on the back, positioned neatly along the edge of the card so you can align them right up against your projects for a closer look. The back also includes darker and lighter shades of each colour to further assist with colour selection, as well as hex codes for each colour to give graphic designers and digital artists the confidence that they’re using the right colours every time.

These cards are great and I’m excited to use them. The only thing I would change would be to put the prismacolor codes (or all color codes) on the cards themselves instead of having them on a separate catalog. I actually thought that’s how the cards came. After I received both volumes and realized I needed to buy the catalog, I reached out and was given a discount code for $10 to order the catalog. However, I noticed the site says if you order both volumes it would only be $7. So I’m wondering why I was charged $10 when the site says $7. Anyhow, aside from that, these are great. I won’t have to spend hours or days searching through Pinterest, Google or Instagram for color palette ideas.
