Each card features an image and a colour palette on the front for inspiration. The colours are featured again on the back, positioned neatly along the edge of the card so you can align them right up against your projects for a closer look. The back also includes darker and lighter shades of each colour to further assist with colour selection, as well as hex codes for each colour to give graphic designers and digital artists the confidence that they’re using the right colours every time.

Love the idea of having colorways already chosen, but I do not know if it is just my set, but some of the colors are not what they state they are. For example one of the cards has Beige as the color but the color swatch is definitely pale green. I have asked many others to look at it and tell me what they see and they all say the same. I used the pale green and it still worked but it is definitely not beige. There are a few others like that as well.

Discovered these cubes on youtube videos by DENISE LOVE which I think are fabulous . I absolutely love the concept. Unfortunately have not been able to put them to full use yet but I can see their value in removing doubts about colour selections/combinations. You can jump straight into the creative stuff without thinking about it too much.

The cubes are fantastic. I am not a digital person, and I love the cubes. My husband IS a digi-man, so thought I needed the companion, which he gave me for our anniversary. I have to admit, it makes it even more usable.
I am a watercolorist. So in order to recreate the colors, I have to print out the pages to match. It helps to have the CMYK numbers….I have those in my palette for both gouache and watercolor….to give me a loose starting point for mixing.
I teach watercolor and would like to introduce the cubes to my students. If you have any good suggestions for this, I would love to have them. The way I’ve used them most is to choose a color from my palette that I am dying to try….go to the color menu….and pull up color combinations with that color in it. It’s a nice way of thinking outside the box by looking at what is inside the box!

I knew what the product would be and how to use it, however when it arrived I was a little disappointed. Many of the cards use very similar color palettes. I’m not sure how much it will be used.
