Each card features an image and a colour palette on the front for inspiration. The colours are featured again on the back, positioned neatly along the edge of the card so you can align them right up against your projects for a closer look. The back also includes darker and lighter shades of each colour to further assist with colour selection, as well as hex codes for each colour to give graphic designers and digital artists the confidence that they’re using the right colours every time.

As a beginner/self taught artist, at times I wasn’t real sure what were the best colour combinations and how to create these colours when mixing my acrylics. The cubes will assist my tutoring, however I would really have appreciated some conventional fine art Paint terminology on the cards. EG: 80% Burnt Sienna + 20% Titanium White. My senior citizen students are not tech savvy and are baffled by Hex codes.Otherwise a useful tool to stimulate the imagination.
