This is a full update and second edition of the Color Cube Volume 1 and 2. The boxes themselves are getting an update, and the palette cards have been reviewed and recategorized for a better experience.
Out of the original 500 palettes from the First Edition, 100 have been retired.
Alongside the new Volumes 1 and 2, the introduction of Volumes 3 and 4 gives more opportunities for better categories and variety, so any box has a huge range of colour choices on its own, without needing all 4.
There are a lot of other updates still to be announced, so it may be best to wait for the full launch before making a decision on which Color Cube is best for you.
Here’s the full breakdown of the changes to the palette cards:
Volume 1 (2nd Edition) keeps 160 from 1st Edition. I’ve moved 25 from Volume 2 (1st Ed.) and created 65 new palettes.
Volume 2 (2nd Edition) keeps 124 from 1st Edition. I’ve moved 15 from Volume 1 (1st Ed.) and created 111 new palettes.
Volume 3 (2nd Edition) includes 187 new palettes, plus 17 from Volume 1 (1st Ed.) and 46 from Volume 2 (1st Ed.).
Volume 4 (2nd Edition) includes 219 new palettes, plus 13 from Volume 1 (1st Ed.) and 18 from Volume 2 (1st Ed.).

I love these! They are useful in so many ways I hadn’t even thought of before. I have been crocheting an afghan and I realized these would be perfect for figuring out colors that would go well together in an afghan. They are versatile and useful in so many forms of art, not just drawing or painting. Thank you so much, Sarah, for all your hard work in creating these color cubes!

Love them and plan on sharing them with my grand -daughter who also has trouble with colors (she is 38) so we will have lots of fun using them together.

You have an untapped market for these color card with Quilters and glassers – @littleglassquilts on all platforms is a great advocate for your cards and how they pertain to color theory and colors that work well together.

If you have trouble choosing colours for your projects then I highly recommend the colouring cubes. They are conveniently sorted into their designated category which makes it much easier to find and now there are two additional boxes.
Well done Sarah.

Love the cubes. I’d love to see some YouTube videos about using the cards for interior design and matching the colors with common paint color decks.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I had indecision regarding color palettes for coloring pages and tried using other palette apps online but this actually has collections of colors with appropriate palettes. I no longer have decision fatigue and can actually proceed with coloring

They arrived quickly and perfectly packaged. I haven’t opened the individual cube boxes yet, as they are going to be a Christmas gift to me, from my husband. I think they are going to be amazing!

I love. The new colour schemes are really great. And I’ve kept the ‘old’ Colour Cubes, so over a 1 000 schemes to choose for is really great.
