Meet your new Digital Colour Cubes & Colour Companion
My team and I haven’t just re-invented the Colour Cube. We’ve completely re-shaped the digital experience that comes with it.

Instead of bulky PDF files with limited search functions, we’re working on an in-depth interactive web experience, built exclusively for art-lovers and creatives like you to get the most out of both your colour palettes and art supplies.
Browse your Second Edition Digital Colour Cubes by colour, keyword or collection – with new filters, search functions and detailed colour information.
Find matching art supplies for your favourite colours in just a few clicks, or convert your colours from one brand to another from a range of 50+ art supplies in our database (with more being added regularly!)
Purchase an optional Colour Companion subscription (with a lifetime offer available), and you’ll unlock even more features:
• Save unlimited art supplies in your own “Art Stash”, organised in the same order you have them on your desk
• Find the best colour matches in any product from your stash, or learn which 2 colours you can mix to make sure you have the closest match possible
• Create collections of your favourite colours and colour palettes
• Get access to exclusive online-only colour palette drops
• Create your own printable swatch charts or project sheets for any colour palette or brand from your stash
This is just the beginning, with more features and art supplies in the plans for 2026!

Got Questions? We Have Answers!
Wondering what the difference is between Colour Cube 1st Edition & 2nd Edition? Find out more here:
This subscription won’t be bundled into the existing options, as it’s under a different payment system. So you can still order everything else and be confident you’re getting the best deal possible on all the 2nd Edition products.
Great question!
The main purpose of this update was to make some improvements to Volume 1 and 2, based on customer feedback. I’ve introduced tabs, updated the box, and redesigned more logical categories (while keeping variety in each cube for people who just want one)
Part of this included retiring 100 palettes from Volume 1 and 2, and expanding the range to include Volume 3 and 4.
The biggest change of all comes with the digital experience.
I’ll continue to share more over the coming weeks, and hopefully help make sense of how the new system works, and why we made the changes.
This is a full update and second edition of the Color Cube Volume 1 and 2. The boxes themselves are getting an update, and the palette cards have been reviewed and recategorized for a better experience.
Out of the original 500 palettes from the First Edition, 100 have been retired.
Alongside the new Volumes 1 and 2, the introduction of Volumes 3 and 4 gives more opportunities for better categories and variety, so any box has a huge range of colour choices on its own, without needing all 4.
There are a lot of other updates still to be announced, so it may be best to wait for the full launch before making a decision on which Color Cube is best for you.
Here’s the full breakdown of the changes to the palette cards:
Volume 1 (2nd Edition) keeps 160 from 1st Edition. I’ve moved 25 from Volume 2 (1st Ed.) and created 65 new palettes.
Volume 2 (2nd Edition) keeps 124 from 1st Edition. I’ve moved 15 from Volume 1 (1st Ed.) and created 111 new palettes.
Volume 3 (2nd Edition) includes 187 new palettes, plus 17 from Volume 1 (1st Ed.) and 46 from Volume 2 (1st Ed.).
Volume 4 (2nd Edition) includes 219 new palettes, plus 13 from Volume 1 (1st Ed.) and 18 from Volume 2 (1st Ed.).
All of the colour palettes have been renumbered and recategorised for a better overall experience. Each Volume includes a mix of palettes from the original Volumes 1 and 2, along with new palettes.
Volume 1 (2nd Edition) includes 65 new palettes, 160 from Volume 1 (1st Edition) and 25 from Volume 2 (1st Edition).
Volume 2 (2nd Edition) includes 111 new palettes, 15 from Volume 1 (1st Edition) and 124 from Volume 2 (1st Edition).
Volume 3 (2nd Edition) includes 187 new palettes, 17 from Volume 1 (1st Edition) and 46 from Volume 2 (1st Edition).
Volume 4 (2nd Edition) includes 219 new palettes, 13 from Volume 1 (1st Edition) and 18 from Volume 2 (1st Edition).

Yes, the cards are the same size and printed on the same high-quality matte finish.
The Colour Catalog and Companion are being replaced with a new online experience. Existing customers will still have lifetime access to download their First Edition Catalogs and Companions. The new experience builds on all the feedback from the originals, and adds many new features (still to be announced).
You can purchase Volumes 1 & 2 as one set, Volumes 3 & 4 as another, or 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 as a bundle. Each volume is also available individually.
Not at all. Your current cubes still work perfectly. But the new version has enough improvements and new palettes that many customers will want to upgrade.
This 2nd Edition is a replacement for the original Cubes, not intended as a separate series. The new version significantly improves on the First Edition Volumes 1 and 2 and includes new palettes and updated features. 100 colour palettes from the original Cubes have been retired in this update.
We still have limited stock of the original 1st Edition Colour Cubes (Volumes 1 and 2). These won’t be reprinted, so once they sell out, they’re gone.
We’re rolling out more information every few days on social media, and Sarah will show everything in detail during the launch on YouTube on October 24th.

I have been wanting these forever and finally gave in. They are so vibrant and beautiful. Easy to use for any project I am working on. I love being able to match the colors of supplies I already have to a cohesive palette ready to go!

I have the original set which I love, but the organization, new cards and place holders in the new set are just what my brain wanted.

Absolutely love the digital colour cubes. They set my brain off and give me so many ideas. Colours that I never thought of putting together come to life when browsing through the cubes. I love having them on my computer, but I also love having them in my hand and looking through the physical cards. You’ve put so much work into making these colour cubes, I really appreciate them so much! It will help me with painting, card making, colouring, crocheting and all my other craft that I do. I can say goodbye to brain fog when using these.

I only recently learned about your gorgeous Colour Cubes. I knew I had to get the digital version because of it’s access to database searching. It has been so much fun exploring all the palettes with the Colour Companion. I love the look of the physical Cubes, but the power of the digital suits my tastes.

Too hard to find anything. I had a trial to the companion and wasn’t worth renewing. Should have just bought the box maybe. Really disappointed.
Sarah Renae Clark (store manager) –
Hi Sharon! I’m sorry you weren’t happy with the Digital Colour Cubes. The Companion is still being developed, so there will be instructions included in the future. Please feel free to reach out to my team via email if you’d like to discuss your personal order further! Sarah

Totally love the new palettes, they are a great compliment to the original cubes I own. I have a bit of color blindness, (I can’t see blues/greys, they all look blue to me), so using the palettes allows me to be confident that my color selections and combos are not strident or discordant. I’ve enjoyed using them with various art projects from coloring to collage.

Having lots of fun with these. The “SimilarPalettes” listing with each palette leads to disappearing down rabbit holes and finding all sorts of interesting things.
Leanne (verified owner) –
I think the cubes are fantastic. I colour in mandalas and the colour cubes help me immensely.
