A fantastic product! I purchased 2 whole boxes. I have used them all. I “guess-timated” what I needed and guessed right. I am certain while I have a lot of supplies, it certainly is nothing like I used to hoard. I made 5 of these swatchdexes double columns, and the last 3 were triple columns. The most sets swatched on 1 dex was 8. There were some 3s and 4s. The 1st swatchdex I made a triple column, was to be able to swatch my Ohuhu 320 set on 1 card, I was even able to swatch a couple more small sets on the same set. So I got all pencil sets, alcohol marker set, and acrylic marker sets, are all done now. When I finished swatching each dex, I tightened them to make sure they won’t fall apart. Thanks, Sarah!

The design is excellent. The paper ‘quality’ and sturdiness is great. The paper surface is a bit disappointing for my needs. Really, it should be described in your advertising as a smooth hot-press-like surface.
My main purpose is to swatch my prof grade and handmade watercolor collection. However, the paper’s surface makes it a bit challenging for granulation, smooth layering. Plus the added time needed for each strip to dry; binder clips and extra drying time (even with a heat tool) is required for each paper strip.

I recently purchased the Full Colour Suite and the Swatchdex Studio. To be honest, the Swatchdex is not going to be a quick process to get all my pencils swatched, but boy will it be worth it. I already had done swatches of all my pencils but these are done on A4 sheets with up to 60 colours per sheet. These decks mean that now I can easily compare the similar colours between all the brands of pencils I have in an easy to see manner. FYI I have found that it suits me to undo the deck and work on each swatch card on a flat surface. I am really happy with the way it is coming together and the quality of the decks and the box are fantastic. I have completed all my Polychromos pencils so far on one deck and have my Derwent Lightfast and Luminance to go. I think it looks amazing and is going to be so so helpful. To Sarah and her team, thank you so much for loving what you do because we are all reaping the benefits!

I have read the reviews about your Swatchdex so I know most people were not satisfied with the fact you didn’t use watercolour paper. Now I see you are looking to overhaul your Swatchdex product too? Poor planning or rush to launch your products on both the Colour Cube and Swatchdex? I am not sure how I feel about a company that does not do proper market research because there are so many unsatisfied customers with this product because the paper seems cheap.
