Beautifully packaged. The rectangles are a generous size so you have plenty of room to do variations. Paper quality is excellent. The drawer system is a genius way to keep them organized.

I am a card maker and swatched all of my ink pads and organized them by brand. I discovered that I have 290 inks in my stash! And only one or two full sets of colors, so it’s a mishmash of brands and colors. Now, because of their compact design and don’t take up much space, I can keep them close by on my work space. I can then easily match a color when using the ColorCubes or just to find a pleasing color. My other system required pulling out a 3-ring binder to find the best color – these are so much more handy, and therefore, used on a regular basis. Next step is to start swatching my handful watercolor collections.

These are great. I’m using them for my watercolor palettes.
I can use each of the four swatchdex for a separate palette, beginning with the colors on the palette, then exploring different fade-in combinations and mixes.
There are plenty of spaces for these trials. I can pop each dex into each separate watercolor kit for reference while I paint in different locations or different modes.
