I just reviewed the swatchdex cards, which I highly recommended for all artist that need the correct colour and not having to rely upon the product colour which are often incorrect. And those colours I re create regularly have there own card too so I can always know I can reproduce colours with there percentages written on them.
The beautiful flat draw filing system just took excellence to perfection for me. I have paints in Gouache, Acrylic, and Oil. Over time this is building a brilliant archival system of colours with brands for all my paints that is priceless to have there to use whenever I need them. The draws are sleek smooth to pull out with your hands full and a brush in your mouth! Holding four stacks allows them to be useful and used in many ways. I am a two draw user and have stacks by colour. Most might have three colours per stack. Either way you won’t regret being so well organised with your colour swatches.

I’m really happy with the Swatchdex. I’m a miniature painter, and my partner is a traditional artist, and we both genuinely love using these. Even though we work in different mediums, Swatchdex works brilliantly for both of us, which says a lot about how versatile it is.
The cardstock is thick and high-quality, so it easily handles acrylics, inks, markers, and other wet media without bleeding or warping. For miniature painting, it’s especially helpful to see accurate colours, opacity, and finishes before committing paint to a model. These are SO PERFECT! The cardstock is nice and thick so I can use them to swatch ANYTHING! I love that the swatch area goes all the way to the edge so you can put it right up against the color you are trying to match or to make sure you’ve mixed a color exactly right. The container is so sturdy and durable and the drawer slides in and out so smoothly! It is nice and slim so it takes up little room on the shelf and since they are so sturdy you will be able to stack them on top of each other, but still be able to open the drawers with ease. I bought one to make sure I would like them and that I would be able to swatch a variety of mediums. Spoiler alert: they work so beautifully that I am placing an order for four more so I can swatch literally EVERY supply I own (which is an insane amount, lol, but I am sure y’all can relate!) This first box is going to be for allllllllll of my acrylic paint pens and I’ve uploaded photos to show you how easy it is to open up without having to take it off the shelf (and potentially have to move a bunch of stuff off first in order to open/access). If you weren’t sure whether or not you would use these, but swatch all of your supplies and get use from those swatches: buy one. Just buy one and I GUARANTEE you will not regret it as you checkout your second order for 237 more boxes…..hee hee.
