The quality of Swatchdex as promised. I haven’t started yet …. New to painting so, busy searching the web for organizing ideas.

These swatchdex is perfect. There’s lots of room to name the colour and number plus the actual swatch. I have 4 sets of brand name coloured pencils and this Swatchdex really help to keep my pencils organized and find the colour I need much faster. I recommend them highly. Thanks for making these.

A great product. The drawer/box is sturdy and the cards are working really well (I have only swatched Prisma so far, but I’m sure they’ll hold up to wet media). The rivet also unscrews so you can separate the cards to swatch- though I wish I noticed earlier :p. One small thing I would like to see are small, optional tab cards so I can find different brands easily. I am using one stack for each medium, rather than brand set, and would like a quick way to skip to specific brand/sub-medium/ colour group I want rather than having to fan the whole thing out.

I love my Swatch Dex cards and cases. I’ve only swatched my colored pencils and already have used them to color in my books. I love that they have large areas to fill in as the small little squares or circles don’t truly represent the beauty of the colors. They work well as I can see all the pencils in one color family at the same time. Then if I’m not happy with one set of pencils, it’s easy enough to compare one set of pencils against another set.
I would have given the swatchdex studio cases 5 stars but the drawers on the set of 5 I ordered don’t open very easy. I struggle a lot with at least 2 drawers. I am going to try to sand away some of the edged of the drawers to see if that helps. Otherwise I love the whole system.

Great quality paper, I dont keep them in the box cuz it takes up too much room for me. But I like the swatches themselves. I got one done

I bought 6 Swatchdex Studios and arranged them in two stacks of 3, fixed together with gorilla tape, (nothing breaks away from that monster). Just waiting for the online colour companion to help me reorganise my art stash and I will get back to creating after a long layoff (heart attacks). Can’t wait.

I love these. One wasn’t enough so I bought another one. I may need to buy one more for resin pigments, glitters and mica powders.

Such good quality and very excited to start to do them all. !! I always struggle to understand exactly what the colour will look like once I wet it , especially with my carabiner sachets watercolour crayons and pencils so these will help enormously.

Overall, I love these and they’ve earned a permanent spot on my desk. I’ve done three of the 4 that came in my box, each with a different medium.
My alcohol marker swatches have been the most helpful and were the most fun to do. The smooth paper of the swatches lends to allowing all the juicy ink to flow and the paper is thick enough to take it.
My watercolor swatches caused the pages to curl some, but not so much so that they don’t fit in their drawer. Honestly, I could probably wet the pages and put them under weight and mostly flatten them back out, but as a reference, still very helpful and took quite a bit of water!
My colored pencils were also fun until, in my gradient, I tried to burnish them – the paper is so smooth that I felt like I was just moving my wax around. However, it’s still a great representation of the colors I have and just as helpful in matching or choosing

These swatch books are pro level. Gave them to my son as a gift and he was more excited about these than the pens I gave him! Needless to say I for one for myself and when I can’t think of what to do, I’ll swatch creatively on these and it’s a masterpiece!
