The Colour Catalogue Companion is a printable guide with every colour palette from the Colour Catalogue where my team and I have pre-filled every pencil & marker colour from some of the most popular brands so that you don’t have to go to the effort of finding the best match.
It includes pencil and marker reference numbers for every colour palette in The Colour Catalogue Volumes 1 & 2, PLUS a blank printable version, with 8 colour palettes to a page.

How do I use the interactive Colour Catalogue?
The interactive file is designed to work on your computer or tablet devices using a PDF reader. For iPads, this is built in so you don’t need any additional apps, and for Android Tablets you can download Xodo PDF reader from the Google Play store. Find out more here.
Will the Colour Catalogue work on my device?
The Colour Catalogue works on any device that can read an interactive PDF. This includes computers, iPads, iPhones, and most Android tablets or phones. Some tablets or phones may require additional software that you can download for free, such as Xodo or Adobe Reader.
What’s the difference between the interactive and printable versions?
The interactive Colour Catalogue includes menus and buttons to help you quickly find the perfect colour palette. You can print from this if you choose, but I’ve included a separate printable version without the buttons and extra pages to save on printing costs. The printable version includes no additional details – it just has the navigational pages removed.
Can I buy the Colour Catalogue as a printed/physical book you send to me?
The Colour Catalogue is not available as a hardcopy book, however the Color Cube provides all the same colour palettes as cards you can hold.
How accurate are the colours?
Because colours vary between different screens, devices, printers, and pencil or marker brands, colour accuracy cannot always be guaranteed.
Because coloured pencils come in limited ranges, not every colour has a matching pencil, so I’ve provided what I believe is the closest match possible with each range, based on the manufacturers swatches, the actual products, and my own printed swatches and palettes. If you are looking for perfect colours for graphic design or professional projects, it is better to refer to the CMYK, RGB and hex codes provided in the Colour Catalogue.
Can I add my own colour palettes to the Colour Catalogue?
No. Each colour palettes in the Colour Catalogue has been created by Sarah Renae Clark. It is a collection, not an app.
What’s the difference between the UK version and US version?
Just the spelling! Color / Colour, Catalog / Catalogue, Gray / Grey – That’s about it! Both versions work wherever you are located.

The Colour Catalogue is a digital and interactive colour palette guide. The Colour Catalogue Companion is a printable add-on that allows you to match your pencils and markers to the palettes from The Colour Catalogue. The original Colour Catalogue is still the easiest and quickest way to find a colour palette for inspiration.
Can I buy the Colour Catalogue Companion without The Colour Catalogue?
Yes, but you’ll receive a discount by buying them together in the same order.
