The cards themselves are beautiful and inspiring. The physical ergonomics not. so much. The only reason I gave this a 4 was that the cards are so densely stacked in their container boxes and it is irritating trying pull on or even several out. Then trying to return them to the box in the numerical order is difficult because you can’t flip to the number area easily to reinsert (there is no “flip room”) A slight loosening in the storage box and a wee bit more finger room around the perimeter of the box to leverage the cards would make it so much more user friendly. I find myself thinking “oh i wanna use the cards but its gonna be struggle to get to things”

First of all, I received all the downloads immediately – including UK versions of the Color Catalog! The interactive versions work great on my iPad. I don’t plan on printing these (save the trees), but it’s nice to know I have them if I want to print a page here and there… The companions for different product brands work great – I’ve tried Copic and Prismacolor and immediately found what I needed. Huge time saver! A few weeks after placing the order, I received the Color Cubes. Very impressed with the quality of the packaging (I’m in product development and marketing, so I know that this detail alone took a lot of thought and effort and wasn’t cheap). The outer storage box is beautiful, and the individual boxes are very sturdy. I like that stickers were included to mark the boxes so I can match them up with the corresponding catalogs. My only complaint is that the cards are a little difficult to get out of the box as they are the same size as the box they are in. I would have preferred that when I took the top off the box, there was about an inch of the cards above the rim of the box to make it a little easier to pull them out. Also, if there was some sort of bookmark that you could put in the box in place of the card you’re using so that it’s easy to find where it goes… I’m going to make myself one, but it would have been a cool thing to include.

I love the cards, except that I have found several cases where the colour on the front of the card does not match the colours on the back of the card. This is frustrating. Not disasterous, but it does make it harder to pick the matching colours. That said, I shall be using this system to help me choose colours to put in a quilt.

Unfortunately I could not download these on my iPhones for some reason….I’ve never had a problem downloading anything else. I did reach out to the supplier and I received one reply, but no further replies, and I still can download.
The cubes arrived promptly and the colour cards are beautiful. One of the boxes however has a dented corner, which doesn’t affect the cards but is still disappointing. Considering I paid $145, I expected the product to be in perfect condition.

It’s an awesome work put together definitely will be very helpful, the cubes looks very cute even as a decor for your art studio, however could be some small improvements, like having the cards divided in section of 20’s or so with a separation card in it, like 1-20, 21-31, 31-41 and so on. This way when you find your pallet in the computer download version would be easier to locate the corresponding card on the color cube, I will be doing that manually myself. Thanks for such a wonderful crafting tool! It is very well organized and easy to use. Love the colored pencil references to take the guess work out of finding the right colors! The only thing I would suggest is to make the cube boxes ever so slightly wider so you can get the cards out easier, and slightly longer so we can add numerical tabs, though I was able to add my own without any trouble. Overall, I’m blown away at the organization and creation of this tool…love it!!

Only a couple suggestions for improvement, though: Black and charcoal gray is used a lot in the combinations, and I would like to see more without these colors. Also, I would like to see more 6-color combinations. On the whole though, beautifully done! A valuable asset to any colorist/artist’s arsenal!

I am enjoying trying out my different brands of pencils having printed off the blank companion pages for each of the four pencil sets I have. I Usually really enjoy swatching pencils but I have to say that so far with the Prismas and Polychromos I am rather disappointed with the colour match suggestions. I am not going off my printed sheets nor my screen but generally the cards and for the most part a lot of your suggestions are nothing like a near match. I have basically given up on them now as so disappointed. One example I have just done is 013 a beautiful yellow rose with your main colour suggestion being a mustard. Wrong!

This is a fantastic tool, not only for colouring books, but also to assist me in my commissioned artwork. The digital version is really good but it’s so handy to have the colour cubes and the actual card in my hand to match the colours fir my artwork.

The color cubes are wonderful and have help me choose different colored fabric that I normally wouldn’t put together. Also, the cards are helpful when thinking of what style/design of quilt I will be making. AAA+ love them
